Shape the next area of autonomy

Job Description:

Designing and developing the robotic core of NIDO — from mechanical innovation to embedded AI and autonomous flight.

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechatronic Engineer with a strong passion for drones, embedded programming, and autonomous flight systems.
Mechanical and electronic design expertise, combined with knowledge of flight control technologies, are essential to this role.

As part of the NIDO development team, you will contribute to the design, optimization, and testing of robotic systems and UAV components that enable fully automated missions.
You will collaborate across hardware, software, and AI domains to bring cutting-edge robotics into real-world deployment.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Hybrid work flexibility (remote during non-hardware-intensive phases)
  • Direct involvement in the creation of real, high-impact robotic products
  • Innovative, fast-paced environment combining UAVs, AI, and automation
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a scaling company

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize lightweight, high-performance drone components
  • Develop and implement embedded software for advanced control functions
  • Integrate hardware and software to deliver complete, reliable robotic systems
  • Perform testing, analysis, and iterative improvement of designs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronic, and software engineers)
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in robotics and autonomous flight

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems creatively and efficiently
  • Strong background in drone design, control systems, or embedded development
  • Advanced programming skills in C/C++ (experience with real-time or embedded environments preferred)
  • Solid understanding of mechanics, electronics, and system integration
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and analytical skills
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
