Mixed Reality Awareness
The NIDO.AI Ground Control Platform enables real-time management of NIDO® unit fleets on hardware-agnostic clients, utilizing a 3D geospatial Extended Reality (XR) interface.
NIDO GC seamlessly integrates Command & Control (C2&C3) functions with live video feeds and real-time digital datasets, providing enhanced situational awareness. By expanding Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) capabilities, it delivers instant, up-to-date insights on terrain and airspace conditions, optimizing operational decisions for every ongoing or planned mission.
Precision, Awareness and Control

At the core of the GCS interface lies a 3D geographic map that can integrate data from platforms like Google or custom datasets such as photogrammetric and LiDAR-based 3D meshes. This dynamic environment visualizes the digital twins of both the drone and the box in real time. To enhance the Pilot in Command’s situational awareness, the interface can overlay live informational layers, including nearby air traffic, UAV positions, and telecommunications signal coverage.

A four-frame display, providing simultaneous live views from up to four drones. This layout highlights the system’s powerful multi-drone management capability, allowing operators to monitor and control multiple missions in real time. With synchronized video feeds and telemetry, it ensures full situational awareness and operational efficiency across complex scenarios.

The pre-flight check page provides a comprehensive overview of automated system diagnostics and live telemetry from both the UAV and the NIDO Box, including real-time video feeds. This interface ensures that all components are fully operational before takeoff. Once all checks are successfully completed, the Pilot in Command can confidently initiate the mission.

A calendar view of missions and a detailed summary screen for each mission. Pilots in Command (PiC) can log in to access mission details, initiate pre-flight checks, and transition to the Command & Control interface.

The GCS planning interface allows pilots and operators to efficiently design waypoint missions with precision and ease. Through intuitive tools, users can define and measure operational areas, set flight parameters, and analyze mission data in real time. This comprehensive environment simplifies mission preparation while optimizing flight performance and safety.
